Snow Globes

Part of the magic of Narnia was thinking up ideas for the children to take part of Narnia with them. On day two the children made snow globes representing Narnia and the lamp post. They turned out fabulous and everyone loved making them too.

WHAT YOU NEED
Styrofoam
White Glitter
Branches
Golden Balls
Glass Frost
Clear Glass Jars

In any craft store you will find the items needed above. I did purchase two long glittered branches and broke them down into twigs. The twigs worked out perfectly.  Note: I did frost the glasses days prior to camp, the reason being is A. the children would fight over frosting and B. it takes time for the frost to dry. Each class was prepped with all the necessaries items in baggies.

You simply glue the styrofoam to the lid then add your lamp post, twigs, and trees. Be sure to place your "snow" in the jar then add the lid before flipping it over, otherwise you will have snow in your classroom.

Happy Crafting!
