One of the most satisfying projects we were able to accomplish at Creative Arts Camp, where our map puzzles of Narnia. You can order the mini-puzzles online at Blick's website. We simply printed out examples of the maps we wanted the children to paint on their puzzles. The clear examples gave them a great start and vision of how to complete their maps. You could take this activity in any direction, modifying it according to any lesson.
